Restart the Media Player

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Digital Signage Player.
  2. Wait 10 seconds
  3. Plug the cord back into the Digital Signage Player

  4. The player should restart on its own and content should play as desired.

Repeated Screen Freezing

After restarting the media player, the player continues to freeze 

or stop playing

Check your assets

  1. First Watch the screen and determine when the signage stops.
  2. Note the asset that played last before it stops.

DIY Clients

  1. Log into your DSCMS account
  2. Check the playlist for the asset that plays after the one that you noted.

  3. On a computer locate the asset’s original source file that you uploaded to your CMS (JPEG, MP4, PNG)

  4. Right click the asset and choose properties to see if the size is listed OR Open the asset you created in a program that will tell you the size.(ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR, IN-DESIGN, ETC)

  5. Resize the asset to appropriate sizes for your media player. (1920px x 1080px)

  6. In photoshop/illustrator choose  “Save for Web” when saving or save with 72ppi formatting.
